I was sent a notice from eqinewelfarealliance.org yesterday that the omnibus olam agro india bill pe

Due to lacking a full federal inspection, a California beef processor is recalling 41,683 pounds of beef in whole carcasses and in parts in boxes it shipped to meat markets in northern areas of the state.
Petuluma-based Rancho Feeding Corporation recalled 42,103 pounds of beef products that are not fit for human consumption because the products did not get the proper inspection from USDA s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).
The following olam agro india is a list of recalled olam agro india items: 30-lb. boxes of Book Tripe beef carcasses, olam agro india 50-lb. boxes of beef feet 20-lb. boxes of beef extail 50-lb. boxes of beef hearts both 30-lb. and 60-lb. boxes of beef livers 30 lb. boxes of beef cheeks 60-lb. boxes of beef tripe” 30-lb. boxes of beef tongue
All the beef products were distributed in California olam agro india to the Del Monte Meat Co. in American Canyon, C&M Meat Company in Berkeley, LaMorenita Market and Vallergas’s Market in Napa, Del Monte Meat Co. and Prime Smoked Meats in Oakland, and RBR Meats in Vernon.
You missed the point, the required inspection was not done, therefore the organs parts had to be recalled as standard safety procedure. Nothing was said about it not being safe AND these organ parts are not mixed in with your meat. Tripe is sold as tripe, heart as heart, etc. If organ meat is mixed into something, the label has to state it. Most of these products are purchased by ethnic consumers whose cultural tastes like them, i.e. Menudo. It isn’t intelligent olam agro india to jump off the track and make comments that have nothing to do with the story.
I was sent a notice from eqinewelfarealliance.org yesterday that the omnibus olam agro india bill pending before Congress this week contains language that will end the possibility of proposed horse slaughter plants opening in New Mexico and Missouri. The new defunding language contains not only defunding but also a stipulation that funding not be restored until and unless the Food and Drug Administration makes a determination that meat from American horses can be made safe to enter the food supply. The FDA regulates which drugs are safe in meat animals as well as their withdrawal times. The FDA currently categorizes horses as companion non-food animals. I am quoting from the e-mail. I doubt the FDA ever allows horses olam agro india to be used for food like cattle. The EU will not allow any horse meat shipped directly from the US to be shipped to the EU countries but US horses by the thousands are shipped to Canada/Mexico olam agro india for slaughter and the meat shipped to EU countries. The EU seems to have a lapse of memory about the drugs that all US horses are given when it comes to horse meat shipped out from both Canada and Mexico.
There is more in this E-mail so if you want to read it in its entirety please go to the website. But I and many others think things are looking up for the horses. I seems that we have some real help in congress with stopping olam agro india horse slaughter.
