عن عائشة رض قالت: كانت قريش تصوم عاشوراء فى الجاهلية و كان رسول الله ص يصومه. فلما هاجر الى المدينة صامه و امر بصيامه فلما فرض شهر رمضان, قال: من شاء صامه و من شاء تركه. البخارى jik properties و مسلم و الترمذى و ابو داود و ابن ماجه و احمد و مالك و الدارمى From 'Aisha RA, he said: It is the Quraysh fasting' Ashura 'on the ignorance and the Prophet Muhammad jik properties was also fasting. So after emigrated to Madinah, he still fasted 'Ashura' and ordered the Companions to fast on that day. Then after fasting in the month of Ramadan are required, then he said, "Anyone who wants to fast 'Ashura' please fasting, and whoever wants to leave please do not fast". [HR. Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah, Ahmad, Malik and Darimiy] or (HR. Muslims juz 2, p. 792)
عن معاوية بن ابى سفيان قال: سمعت رسول الله ص يقول: ان هذا يوم عاشوراء و لم يكتب عليكم صيامه و انا صائم. فمن شاء صام و من شاء فليفطر. البخارى و مسلم From Mu'awiyah ibn Abu Sufyan, he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah said, "Verily, this day is the day of 'Ashura' jik properties but it is not obligatory upon you fasting today, I'm fasting. Therefore, whoever wants to fast please fasting, and whoever does not want to fast, please do not fast ". [HR. Bukhari and Muslim]
