We re a big partner with [Diageo], and it s a great thing, said Plainfield Deputy Fire Chief Jon Stratton. He said the fire district plans to use the proceeds to enhance training for local firefighters.
What we re trying to do is raise money for our burn tower, which would be built at the fire department s new headquarters on 135 th Street. We want to keep our firefighters at the top of their game.
